The Suzuki Motors had unveiled this crossover during the 2013 Geneva auto show. The launch of the S-Cross is expected in the second half of 2015.

The large dimensions of the car give it the road presence. The big headlamps house HID projectors within them along with LED daytime-running lights. A chrome-clad grille houses the Suzuki badge in the centre and there are fog lamps on the bumper. Styling lines from the bumper flows into the doors, which also have the customary plastic claddings of a crossover. The rear-end design is stylish and has proportionate tail-lamps. The S-Cross is not based on the SX4 and it is built on a brand-new platform. The dashboard layout is uncluttered with touches of silver. The dash consists of a 7-inch, touch-enabled infotainment screen and is synced with Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, rear-view camera and audio playback. A TFT screen shows car data and also has an analogue speedometer and tachometer.

Maruti-Suzuki has high expectations from the new S-Cross and when launched will have to compete with the already established rivals like the Renault Duster, the Ford EcoSport and the Crossovers like Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo.
